Poopy Monster was founded by Dan Powell, a U.S. Navy veteran and retired Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputy with more than 25 years of public service.

After retiring from law enforcement, Dan saw an opportunity to solve a simple problem faced by dog owners everywhere:
