Meet Dawn Chmura

Dawn Chmura brings a lifelong love of animals, extensive hands-on experience, and a warm, customer-first attitude to her role as a Technician with Poopy Monster.

Dawn has been an animal and pet owner her entire life and spent more than 15 years working in an animal hospital. Through that experience, she became familiar with many of the illnesses and parasites associated with dog feces and learned to recognize waste that may appear unusual or unhealthy. While our technicians never diagnose medical conditions, Dawn’s background gives her an experienced and attentive eye while caring for our customers’ properties.

Dawn is known for her patience, attention to detail, love of animals, and fun, friendly personality. She takes pride in doing the job right and always putting the customer first—whether that customer has two legs or four!

Outside of Poopy Monster, Dawn loves gardening and spending time with her family. She is a proud mother of three and grandmother to one beautiful granddaughter. She is also especially proud that one of her children is currently serving in the United States Air Force.

And then there’s Fergie—Dawn’s feisty and lovable dachshund who keeps her smiling and on her toes.

With her animal-care experience, attention to detail, and genuine love for pets and people, Dawn is a wonderful addition to the Poopy Monster team.
