She supports local pet families through hands-on service, relationship building, and community outreach.

A Lifelong Love of Animals

Veronica’s love for animals began early. Her happiest days were spent on her grandparents’ dairy farm, surrounded by cows, horses, chickens, dogs, and barn cats. Those experiences shaped her respect for animals and the important role pets play in families.

She continues to carry that same care and patience into her work with Poopy Monster.

Svanna’s Story

Veronica’s connection to animals is deeply personal. She and her son experienced the heartbreaking loss of their 19-year-old Yorkie, Boo. Just one week later, they learned about a young dog named Svanna.

They attended a meet-and-greet adoption event in Greece, NY. Svanna ran straight to them and chose them instantly. Her former owners had returned her for chewing a cord — common puppy behavior. Veronica recognized a loving dog who simply needed understanding and stability.

They adopted Svanna when she was one year old.

Today, Svanna is a cherished part of the family. She is ¾ Siberian Husky and ¼ Pomeranian. She loves walks, car rides, people, other pets, treats, squirrels, and her toys. Svanna often stops traffic with her beauty and personality. She brings joy to everyone she meets. Veronica’s family also includes a cat named Hazel.
